FILLED: New vacancy Y1 - Y3 Achievement Mentor/Classroom Assistant with Qualified Teacher Status (L3TA)

Contract: Temporary with a view to becoming permanent (wef: 1 November or a soon as possible). 

Scale: Level 3 TA– New WBC Grade 5: SCP 8 - 14
Salary: WBC £9, 945 – 22,462 fte Pro rata term time only

Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week

The Governing Body is currently seeking a high quality achievement mentor with a proven track record, highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated, and has the ability to inspire children.

This post is working with children from Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 as well as having a particular focus in reading strategies. The school will provide investment into reading recovery training as well as line management support into delivering the principles of Every Child a Reader.

Applications are welcomed by candidates who consistently perform, and have a recent track record, of high quality teaching and reading intervention within an education setting, with desirable experience in Year 1 to Year 3.   Qualified Teacher Status is desirable but not essential.

Applications are welcome from professionals who consistently teach at a high standard and can demonstrate a positive contribution to pupil achievement. Please make clear the additional skills and attributes you could bring to our school.
