The governing body is looking for an experienced, competent and enthusiastic handy person to fulfil the role as Assistant Caretaker across our school campus.

St Margaret’s has two sites, the main teaching site and the SMILE conference site.  It has a good reputation within the local community and the borough.

The post is for a part time Assistant Caretaker to work five evenings each week, approximately at 6.00pm and 9.00pm.   This post is a main scale Grade 4 and is temporary until 31 August 2019.

Please note that this post provides an opportunity for training and development in premises management as well as deputising for /stepping up as the Site Maintenance Officer in their absence.
The successful candidate will need to be:

  • A consistent hard worker
  • Committed to maintaining and improving a clean and safe site
  • A positive team member
