St Margaret's is a unique school providing an education for 3 - 11 year olds in a unique ethos. This ethos is described in our vision of Care, Challenge and Celebrate with Christ. This vision is embodied in the work of the school, being visible through our children, the staff and the governors.
I have come in order that they might have life – life in all its fullness. John 10:10
Our governing body has reflected upon our mission statement of 'Care, challenge and celebrate with Christ' when it undertook its Review of Governance by an NLG who is Chair of a Church of England school.
As a result of the review, governors wanted to make more explicit the role the school plays in children's future, their aspirations and also their faith journey. As a result they adopted '...where ambition and faith thrive!' to complement the core mission. During the forthcoming year we have been and will continue to unpack what this means with our children. We have held an Aspirations Week in October in which children had visits from different careers; fire service, vets, Bentley mechanics, IT CEOs and also visited places of work and study - Sainsburys, Chester University.
