Learn in Faith

Learn in an culture of faith, learn to develop your faith. (Adults and children).

Underpining our work is the gospel message, that there is hope for everyone - with Christ.  Our vision is Care, challenge and celebrate - with Christ. It is theologically rich and we have explained this on our vision page.

Our curriculum experience encourages those of Christian faith, other faiths and of no faith to broaden and deepen their understanding in how they, as citizens in this world, can understand the beliefs, actions and traditions of different religions and cultures.

As a Christian school we provide an opportunity for children to explore 'big' questions about spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding, developing a language they can use through gaining knowledge about the faith explored deeply for Christians as well as other religions.

We develop every child to become self-aware in knowledge, attitudes and competencies towards having a healthy body, a healthy mind, and a healthy spirit.

Our pupils grow in their character as they learn our curriculum and participate in the breadth of opportunity we offer.  Many families do not have access to opportunities and we therefore consider it our Christian duty to provide these so that all grow up being able to realise 'life in all its fullness'.

Our traditional Anglican foundation provides a confident expression of the bible and of worship.  An opportunity to 'know more and be more'.  To be who they want to be in the image of God. Through choice, being able to to live out our biblical mission 'Therefore choose [life]' Dueteronomy 30.

Christian values support our pupils being able to articulate the Gospel message.  They see the values are those Jesus lived out day by day.  To be the person God want us to be we should too live out these values.

The current terms' values we celebrate every Friday can be seen up in the playground and in our prayer spaces.  Each undepinned by scripture (bible quote).

To learn more about our Christian faith and how it is lived out, please talk to our children.  For a more adult explanation talk to any of our staff, but particularly those on our Christian Distinctiveness Team.

PLEASE TAKE TIME TO LOOK AT OUR PAGES THAT SHOW HOW WE DO THIS (SUCH AS THE MINISTRY OF WORSHIP) AND THE IMPACT IT CREATES (THE YEAR GROUP GOOGLE SITES).
