New School Year

Welcome to a new school year, whether you are joining us for the first time or returning to a new year group.

The first day for children will be Thursday 1st September. 

Day 1 (Thursday): All parents and children for ALL YEAR GROUPS should come onto the main playground except for Nursery and Reception which should go to their classroom doors.

We have Welcome Ambassadors at the gates so please ask them if you are not sure where to go.

Pick up at the end of Day 1 for YN. YR, Y1, Y2, Y3 will be from classroom doors (Note 1M Miss McGivern and 2W Miss Woods (was Miss Johnson) classroom doors are accessed via the main visitors' gate at the front of school.  Y4 will be brought to the playground with their class teacher.  Years 5 & 6 are given greater independence and sent from their classroom doors to the gates off the playground, though staff will walk onto the playground so that they are accessible if parents need to have a quick chat.

Day 2 (Friday) : ALL Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4 & Y5 classes will come onto the main playground. Y6 will come through gates near the car park. 

At the end of Day pick up will be as Day 1.

PE kit: Your child will not need a PE kit for the first two days of school.  We have dedicated PE days where children will wear their PE kit to school.  This will all be explained in the Meet the Teacher information provided soon after the start of term.  Our PE uniform kit has been published in the newsletter at the end of last term (available from this website under newsletters).
