New Salad Bar

Boys and girls of our Environment Ministry asked for a salad bar in their meetings with school leaders.  Today, in partnership with WBC School Meals, they opened their new Salad Bar today in the promotion of health food options. 

To work alongside our Growing in Faith project which is work with Walton Lea to grow our own veg and salad, our new sald bar - stocked and available as part of the WBC School Meals Service, will be available to all children who have a school dinner from Reception to Year 6. It has a range of salad from sweetcorn, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, and other options.  Children were delighted with the offer and had a great uptake today - they said iit was like being at a Harvester Restaurant!
