Who can access?

FAQs can Access the Portal and App?

The default Arbor recommendation is that each child is normally assigned one Primary Guardian.

Where it is absolutely necessary to have two Primary guardians this is possible, though not generally advisable. In this event please contact the school office.

Not all children may have a Primary Guardian, in this event we will work with those responsible for the child to ensure they have good communication.

How to Get Access to the Portal and the App if you are a Primary Guardian?

St Margaret's is now using the Parent Portal and Parent App, and has set up an account for you. To finish creating your account you just need to set a password. Your username is the email address we would have sent an email to. Go to https://login.arbor.sc and click Forgot your password? to finish setting up your account.

After successfully completing the Parent Portal, you can then download the Arbor App to your phone from the Apple Store or Google Play.

Will we be taking Payments through Arbor?

At the moment there is no intention to take any electronic payments through Arbor. All payments will be either through the ParentPay App system for lunches, trips, activities, or via SumUp at the office for uniform etc.

What if I find errors in the data?

We have spent three weeks undertaking a data cleansing process to ensure our data in our MIS is accurate from transfering over, however there may be the odd 'querble' in the system. If you have any queries or come across any errors please can you contact the admin team via LIVE CHAT on our website (www.st-margarets.warrington.sch.uk). Please do not ring the school as we need to have an audit trail for changes/requests.

You can also request changes to data from within the Arbor Portal and App. If you do this, please allow time for the office team to check with leaders prior to changes being accepted.

Who owns the data?

The data is owned by the school, not parents or guadians. The school is the final abitor as to what data it holds and how it holds it (subject to GDPR and Privacy Statements). The school is entitled to exercise its right to choose such aspects as Primary Guardians, whether communication is provided to a parent and how that may or may not be delivered. Parents do not have a right to determine what choices the school makes, however they do have the right to have a copy of their child's data and their own data and can remove their own data by request.

What should I do if I need more help?

For Arbor queries, please contact the school office via the Live Chat system on this website rather than contacting via telephone as we need to have an audit trail of errors/requests/changes and we can improve our service through this.
